ABOUT HEIGHTS MENTORING • HOUSTON, THE HEIGHTS & NATIONWIDE

Private Recovery Mentoring, Designed Around Your Life.

Heights Mentoring is a private, clinician-led recovery mentoring practice based in The Heights, serving individuals and families in person across Houston, in-home across greater Houston, and virtually or through concierge support across the country when appropriate and within scope. Our work lives in the ordinary and extraordinary days of real life: the quiet morning routine, the consequential trip, the conversation at home that has been waiting. The moments a discreet, considered presence changes the outcome.

WHY WE EXIST

The Work That Lasts Happens in Real Life.

Recovery does not end when a program ends. The considered work continues in ordinary weeks: the morning routine, the family dinner, the demanding project, the trip that used to be complicated. Heights Mentoring was created to walk alongside people in that real-world space with structure, quiet accountability, and honest guidance. Our work is private and practical, and it is clinically informed. When a higher level of clinical care is the right layer of support, we say so plainly and coordinate with the client's care team through Heights Behavioral Health, our sister clinical practice.

WHAT WE DO

Real-World Recovery Support, Not a Treatment Program.

Heights Mentoring provides one-on-one recovery mentoring, mental health mentoring, sober companion services, family recovery coaching, young adult mentoring, and intervention support. We work in the settings where recovery is actually tested: the home, the office, the neighborhood, the client's private routine, and the demanding travel that comes with a high-visibility life. In-person across Houston. In-home across greater Houston, with virtual and concierge support nationwide when appropriate and within scope.

See How We Help

HOW WE FIT

A Complement to Clinical Care, Not a Replacement.

Heights Mentoring is non-clinical support by design. We do not provide therapy, diagnosis, medication management, detox, or emergency care. Our role is to help clients use the clinical work they are already doing: keeping appointments, following discharge plans, practicing skills, building routines, repairing communication, and noticing drift before it becomes a crisis. With written consent, we coordinate closely with therapists, psychiatrists, treatment teams, and Heights Behavioral Health.

DISCRETION

Privacy Is the Baseline, Not the Upgrade.

Every engagement is HIPAA-aware and held to professional standards for confidentiality, whether the client is a private individual, an executive, a public-facing professional, or a family whose name deserves protection. Concierge sober companion engagements can be arranged with private setting arrivals, coded scheduling, unmarked transportation, and communications routed to protect reputation, career, and household.

FROM OUR FOUNDER

“Every Client and Every Family Should Feel the Difference Between Being Managed and Being Genuinely Supported.”

Heights Mentoring was built by clinicians and operators who wanted a quiet, honest, real-world layer of support for people navigating recovery, mental health, and family healing. Joni Ogle, LCSW, CSAT, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner, stays close to the work. She helps families think through the hard decisions and makes sure the support we offer is honest about fit, clear about limits, and grounded in what will actually help the person in front of us.

Approach, hiring, training, and case direction are shaped by licensed clinicians.

Real-World, Not an Office

We work where recovery is actually tested. In-home, in-community, in-office, in-travel.

Family-Aware

With client consent, family is part of the plan. Not enabling. Not adversarial. Considered.

Built for the Long Road

The first ninety days matter, and so do year two and year five. Relationships that steady clients through the years.

OUR LEADERSHIP

Meet the Heights Mentoring Leadership.

A QUIET CONVERSATION

Support Designed for Real Life, Not Just an Office.

The most useful first step is often a confidential conversation, in person in Houston, or on a private call from anywhere in the country. Tell us what is happening. A clinician-led team listens, offers an honest read on whether Heights Mentoring is the right layer of support, and outlines scope, cadence, and pricing in plain terms.

COMMON QUESTIONS

About Working With Heights Mentoring.

Straight answers about who we are, what we do, how we coordinate with clinical care, and what a first conversation actually looks like.

Heights Mentoring serves adults, young adults, executives, professionals, and families who are looking for a private, real-world layer of support. Common situations include the first weeks after treatment, an executive protecting career and household, a young adult returning home, a family recovering from years of quiet crisis, or a household where support has turned into enabling or conflict.

No. Heights Mentoring is non-clinical by design. We do not provide therapy, diagnosis, medication management, detox, or emergency care. Our role is to complement clinical care by carrying the plan into daily life: routines, accountability, and household communication. When clinical treatment is called for, we coordinate closely with the client’s care team through written consent.

Yes. Heights Mentoring holds professional and ethical standards for confidentiality consistent with HIPAA-aware clinical practice. Communications, records, and coordination with care teams are handled with the discretion families expect from a private clinical environment. Concierge engagements can add layered privacy for public-facing clients.

Heights Behavioral Health is our sister clinical practice. Heights Mentoring is the private, non-clinical mentoring side. When a client is ready for clinical assessment or treatment, we coordinate directly so nothing falls between the two.

Heights Mentoring is a private-pay recovery mentoring practice. We do not bill insurance for mentoring services. Private pay allows us to design support around the client rather than around a benefits authorization, and it protects the discretion many executives, professionals, and families rely on.

A confidential conversation with a clinician-led team at (713) 337-5063. We listen, ask a few careful questions about what is happening, offer an honest read on whether Heights Mentoring is a fit, and outline scope, cadence, and pricing in plain terms. No call center. No scripts. No pressure.

Heights Mentoring is rooted in Houston and The Heights, with in-person support across Houston’s private-pay service areas and in-home support across greater Houston when appropriate. Virtual and concierge support may also be available nationwide depending on scope, fit, travel needs, and care coordination.

Heights Mentoring provides private, non-clinical recovery mentoring and companioning for adults and families in Houston, Texas, and nationwide. Mentoring is not therapy, diagnosis, or emergency care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
